Global Health Summer
Summer School and Conference

Our Global Health Summer programme

The Global Health Summer programme is a one-week course in which students and young professionals from diverse disciplines and regions of the world come together to learn, discuss, and connect at the intersections of health, peace, and socio-ecological transformation. It is accompanied by a one-day public conference, organized to a great extent by summer school alumni.

Our Global Health Summer programme aims at creating a space for critical analysis, academic and political exchange, empowerment, and the reinforcement of critical connections. With our Global Health summer school, we attempt to bridge the divide between cross-disciplinary analysis, practitioners’ perspectives, and activism for change.

We have organized a Global Health Summer School and Conference every year since 2011. This Global Health Summer programme is unique in the sense that it engages with central issues of global health from critical, intersectional, and decolonial perspectives, and through the lenses of peace and conflict theory.
